What would you do as our Draughtsperson
As our Draughtsperson, you would be part of our Operations Department, where you would be responsible for processing new sales orders and providing technical support to ensure products meet customer requirements. You would collaborate closely with both internal teams and external customers to ensure smooth project execution, timely deliveries, and accurate design specifications.
You would also:
- Create project-specific drawings in accordance with technical product documentation, specifications, and installation constraints.
- Process sales orders efficiently and ensure drawings align with project schedules.
- Communicate with customers to clarify requirements and assist engineers and subcontractors with technical queries.
- Prepare and manage site information to support smooth project execution.
- Oversee product purchasing, secure supplier discounts, and review costs while maintaining a positive corporate image and safe working practices.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience in a similar role with strong AutoCAD LT skills.
- Excellent IT skills and ability to work with design and technical documentation.
- Understanding of contract constraints and customer specifications to deliver effective engineering solutions.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration and problem-solving.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain positive customer relationships with a proactive mindset.
