Our growing operations in Ventura, CA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our dynamic team and drive operational excellence. Note: This position is located in Ventura, CA, not at the Memphis, TN facility.

With a passion for people and safety-first mindset, the Manufacturing Operations Manager will partner with the Plant Manager to lead all projects related to our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes, high-quality output, and continuous improvement. This role requires a strategic thinker with sound leadership abilities, a deep understanding of lean manufacturing processes, demonstrated success in delivering Word Class Net Promotor Score performance, and a proven record of using innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead manufacturing operations projects and processes to achieve production goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. “Safety First” is not just a motto, it is a philosophy.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to drive process improvements and resolve production issues.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Manage budgets, resources, and schedules to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the manufacturing operations team.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. In lieu of a degree, candidates with 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing operations with proven record of career progression are invited to apply.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership/project management role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, driving success through empowered and engaged employees
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve high performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using a proactive approach
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
• Direct P&L experience is preferred, basic understanding of plant operations financials is required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
