Security Door Closer awarded 'Product of the Year' at BAU Trade Fair
From 17–22 April, ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Germany proudly showcased their complete door solutions at the renowned BAU Trade Fair in Munich, which was attended by over 190,000 visitors from around the world.
The impressive exhibition was a key attraction for visitors, giving us the opportunity to showcase our products and solutions, such as our electronic locking system eCLIQ, door closers, panic exit devices, escape route technology and Planet finger protection. The main highlights of our stand were the award winning 2-leaf security door closer and the new lock portfolio.
Over the course of the week, our exhibition stand was visited by many customers and generated over 1,500 sales leads which our teams are taking forward.
To top off the successful event, our Security Door Closer with integrated escape door locking for double-leaf door systems, was awarded ‘Product of the Year 2023’ by the business magazine Schloss- und Beschlagmarkt, for the Security Technology and Access Control category.
Schloss- und Beschlagmarkt trade magazine honor top products of the year, and their awarding criteria is based on the product or solutions’ innovative strength, utility value and design, digitalization and supporting benefits for the trade.
The award ceremony was attended by Nico Delvaux, President & CEO of the ASSA ABLOY Group and Stefan Fischbach, SVP and Head of Opening Solutions Central Europe Business Area.
