ASSA ABLOY awarded ‘Security Project of the Year’ at the FSM Awards

ASSA ABLOY takes home the ‘Security Project of the Year’ title this April at the 2022 Fire Security Matters Awards.

Fire Security Matter’s mission is to raise awareness of the importance of Fire Safety and Security. With over 9 Years of History, the Fire Security Matter Awards have been the place where fire security innovation and excellence meet, to shine a light on the industry and its outperformers.

The event took place on the 18th of April at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, where among the 14 categories, ASSA ABLOY was nominated and commended for ‘Security Manufacturer of the Year’ and proudly awarded the ‘Security Project of the Year’ for making more than 70 schools and learning centres in Renfrewshire feel safer and more secure with CLIQ® Remote key access control technology.

As one of ASSA ABLOY’s most innovative products, by using high-end micro-electronics and programmable keys and cylinders, the CLIQ®  Remote access control systems provide an easy-to-use electromechanical locking system and offer complete control and flexibility over access rights to any facility.

While aiming to make the world safer and more secure through technological and mechanical advancements, we also recognise the necessity for trained and skilled Security Teams. To acknowledge the responsibility and effort that goes into those roles, we provided full sponsorship of the ‘Security Team of the Year’ category, won by Mittie, B&Q’s Detective Team.

We would like to congratulate all the winners and look forward to showcasing even more of our business capabilities in next year’s FSM awards.
