WEETECH relies on Aperio® electronic cylinders

Challenge
WEETECH is a globally active company with subsidiaries and representative offices in over twenty countries. At its Wertheim location, the company’s head office, WEETECH uses Siemens security technology. It decided to install a modern electronic access control system to eliminate the large number of keys, increase transparency and save on administration costs. Siemen’s SiPass system is used to provide time and attendance and access control.
Solution
First of all, the main entrance was equipped with a card reader for access control. The terminal on which the 70 employees record their working hours is located in the foyer. A second stage involved extending the system to include more access readers. The company decided to use Aperio® electronic cylinders, which are linked to the SiPass system online by radio. This is a costeffective solution as no wiring is required on the door when installed. The system controls access online in real time.
