Established in 1963, the University of East Anglia (UEA) is one of England’s leading public research and teaching universities. The university occupies a large campus and sought a locking system for its newest on-site residence, Crome Court. The accommodation has 231 en suite rooms rented to university postgraduates, separated into flats for between 8 and 13 people. Crome Court has been specifically designed to minimise environmental impact, including CO² emissions. Any access control system is expected to contribute to that goal.
