Ulm Day Clinic is part of the Söflingen Day Clinic Group, where an entire spectrum of anesthesia and operations has been carried out since 1998: Approximately 8,000 operations are performed by more than 30 inpatient physicians from 13 specialisms. A qualified and competent team of specialists are available for all treatments. Close to the operating theatre, a door used to slam very loudly when closing. This led to problems at reception and during procedures. The medical team felt the vibrations, especially during very sensitive eye surgeries.

Solution

Ulm Day Clinic chose a Close-Motion door closer from ASSA ABLOY, which operates almost silently. The system quickly closes the door until there is merely a small gap. At this point the mechanism smoothly dampens the door’s movement before it slowly and securely closes the door. All you hear is a subtle click.
