Challenge
The challenge was to complete a full specification for a former office building that was being redeveloped to bring together Northcroft Surgery and St. Mary’s Surgery, creating the Strawberry Hill Medical Centre. The specification needed to accommodate patient safety, comfort and movement around the facility, alongside the staff’s need for efficient and secure access to certain areas.
Solution
ASSA ABLOY UK’s specification team specified ash-veneered timber doorsets complete with secure and long-lasting lock cases, sleek door furniture and CAM-Motion® door closers that meet the Equality Act’s requirements. An ASSA SMARTAirTM access control system was also integrated into the specification and the centre’s stylish doorset designs.
