Royal College of Art secured by Powershield and SMARTec Doors

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Uk & Ireland, Door Group delivered a successful project at the Royal College of Art in London.

Challenge

The Battersea campus was created to develop the next generation of students. The wide variety of rooms and working environments meant a mixture of different requirements. The new campus needed an access control solution that offered high security and could handle a high-volume traffic, as well as meeting the standards required for fire and emergency escape door compliance.

Solution

We are responsible for the supply of over 320 door sets between Powershield Steel Doors and SMARTec Timber Doors. The doors were fitted with ASSA ABLOY ironmongery and installed by Comprehensive Carpentry Services Ltd.
