What is BIM object?

A BIM Object is a digital representation of a product, such as the above examples, that are information rich and contain manufacturer-specific details. These include information on size, height, weight, material, hardware, and more. These 3D representations are downloaded and added to an architect's 3D model for precision in detail and for seamless communication with architects, contractors, distributors, facility managers and owners.
As a manufacturer, we can provide the most accurate and up-to-date component content. Making BIM content available provides us with the opportunity to directly engage with our customers, and to ensure the right specification of products within a building project.
BIM content can also be leveraged as an opportunity to be involved in a more standardized process.
