A milestone 50th anniversary celebration is underway for Mul-T-Lock

Over the years, Mul-T-Lock (part of ASSA ABLOY Group) developed numerous innovative and original products protected by international patents, which are marketed via a global distribution network in 80 countries. These products include cylinders, locks, key cutting machines, electromechanical products, vehicle protection products and various related accessories, all of which adhere to strict international standards and help keep more than 300 million people safe worldwide.
To strengthen its position as a worldwide industry leader even further, two years ago, Mul-T-Lock embarked on its smart factory transformation journey, delivering a significant growth in efficiency, and ultimately resulting in even better value for its customers worldwide.
In the framework of the smart manufacturing transformation, Mul-T-Lock was able to move to greener energy, reducing energy consumption by 55% and use of renewable energy was increased by 62%. The factory was turned into a modern, high performing space, reduced in size by 50%, but kept 100% of its productivity.
