Brand Project Marketing Intern

Job Summary

This role is responsible for assisting the Creative & Digital Project Marketing team in current initiatives. This individual will have the opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while working for a global consumer products company.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help develop social media, digital banner & enhanced gallery graphics as needed
  • Assist with setting up projects and tasks in Workfront, ensuring all details are entered correctly.
  • Learn and document Workfront best practices to help improve team efficiency.
  • Enter and update task assignments in Workfront to ensure team members have clear action items.
  • Assist in monitoring project timelines and flagging any missed deadlines to the project manager.
  • Shadow the Project Manager to learn best practices for task prioritization and workflow management.
  • Assist in creating proofs in Workfront by setting up review cycles.

 

Education and Experience Profile

  • Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications is a plus
  • Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in Marketing/Business or Graphic Design
  • Ideal candidate is in their Senior year and able to work 25+ hours per week

 

Required Skills

  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign if we want them updating any design files
  • Computer literate on all major business software packages
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Effective communicator, both written and oral
  • Strong emphasis on achieving commitments
  • Self-motivated to multi-task and meet deadlines assigned
  • Prioritizes those projects that will maximize benefit to the organization
  • Operates with a sense of urgency; identifies opportunities and acts quickly to achieve results
