EDI Specialist

We are currently looking for an Integration/EDI Specialist

 

We want someone who enjoys working with EDI Integration between ASSA ABLOY companies and suppliers. You will work with internal and external parties to deliver new connections and monitor existing connections. What we also expect is that you will have a great attitude, good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills that are crucial for us to provide technical support, as well as the ability to research, resolve and escalate IT issues when necessary. What you will be doing   

The EDI Specialist will be responsible for setting up new integrations, further developing and maintaining existing integrations between the various trading partners.
We use iCore as our integration platform and to the various systems – this will be evaluated over time.

  • Be the problem solver and technical anchor in dialogue with internal and external trading partners

  • Deliver new, modified functionality to existing trading partners

  • Develop and maintain services used in EDI integrations

  • Design integration solutions and document the design in accordance with best practices

  • Work with development teams to architect, design, build, and implement application integrations

  • Support development on resolving system defects, acting as liaison, and developing solutions

  • Coordinate directly with business users and business analysts to best understand and analyze business specifications

  • Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot and resolve integration errors

  • Document and manage current integrations

 

You would also:

  • Work in agile projects and cross-functionally with other teams to deliver the right functionality and the most flexible solutions for our customers

  • Familiarize yourself with things even outside your direct area of ​​responsibility

You are good at assessing what data is available and can make risk assessments linked to both development and operation to be able to prioritize correctly. You are communicative, structured, unpretentious and have good knowledge of English. You have an ability to see system solutions in front of you and are not afraid to "dig" deeper to find the best possible solution. You appreciate a high pace, are accurate and flexible.

  • Experience of EDI systems

  • Experience of EDI communication methods (AS2 / FTP / File share / ODBC etc)

  • Experience with using integration platforms – iCore would be desired

  • Experience with Javascript, C#, .Net, CSS, SQL, Powershell and API Management technologies and standards

  • Can work with non-technical end users to help with resolving issues and making improvements to processes

  • Have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills and the ability to interact

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Energetic and passionate to learn new things
