With easy retrofitting to almost any interior door plus comprehensive RFID support, the Aperio H100 Electronic Handle offers a cost-effective, low-profile way to boost security for offices, storerooms, archives, meeting rooms and other high-traffic doors. It is the easiest way to add electronic access control to an existing mechanical lock without drilling. There is no need to replace your existing mechanical cylinder.
A discreet, contemporary design and minimal footprint ensures the H100 blends into any modern office environment. Not surprisingly the Aperio H100 electronic handle received Detektor International’s Innovative Achievement Award, Intersec’s Access Control Product of the Year and the Innovative Interior Iconic Award 2020.
The Aperio H100 is specified with maximum flexibility and fits almost any format of interior door. The Aperio H100 is compatible with most common European (DIN), Scandinavian and Finnish mortice locks, in wooden, steel, tubular frame or glass doors with standard lock cases.
The Aperio H100 Electronic Handle comes in left- and right-hand versions for a door between 35mm and 80mm thickness, with optional U-handle and USB adaptor. It is certified for fire doors (EN-1634-1:2008 and EN-1363-1:1999). The outside handle rotates freely, while the inside handle remains engaged. Batteries are easy to replace in seconds with a single screw. An inbuilt LED provides instant lock status visualisation.
In addition, the Aperio Electronic Handle offers several smart credential handling options to enable emergency access in case of a communications failure with the access control. Up to 1,000 recently presented valid credentials can be cached automatically for up to 30 days, for user convenience and so the door may be opened without security administrator intervention. Alternatively the access control system can load, modify and delete credentials to the units for the same purpose with time limitation or permanently
It works with an online system or as an offline lock, selected during product initialisation. When connected online, communication is via the communication hubs to your online access control system, where access decisions are made. Additional advantages of Aperio Online management include real-time control over your doors and the instant availability of audit trails for any lock or site user.
The Aperio H100 is compatible with multiple RFID technologies, including iCLASS®/ISO14443B, iCLASS® SE, Seos®, MIFARE® Classic, Plus EV1, DESFire EV1 & V2 and SE. Aperio is also mobile ready, being NFC and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) enabled.
