Position Summary:
Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? Join Medeco Security Locks as a Manufacturing Engineer and become a key player in our precision CNC machining environment, dedicated to high-security lock manufacturing. This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise and project management skills will shine as you collaborate with various departments to drive innovation and excellence.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Process Champion: Lead the charge in refining our precision CNC machining processes, ensuring top-notch performance and quality in high-security lock manufacturing.
  • Equipment Innovator: Spearhead the introduction of cutting-edge CNC machinery, from installation to training our team, ensuring seamless and safe operations.
  • Advanced Technology: You’ll work with state of the art Vision-controlled Robotics systems and use our 3D Printing Lab to proto-type solutions.  
  • Continuous Improvement Leader: Drive projects that reduce costs, enhance quality, and improve delivery times, setting new benchmarks for our precision machining operations.
  • Project Steward: Oversee capital projects with a focus on innovation and strategic alignment, contributing to our company's long-term vision.
  • Design and Efficiency Expert: Develop and optimize tools, fixtures, and processes to boost productivity and reduce operational costs in our high-security lock manufacturing environment.
  • Operational Auditor: Assess our current CNC equipment and tooling, recommending updates or replacements to maintain our competitive edge in manufacturing efficiency.

 

What we are looking for:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or 10 years of related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a precision manufacturing environment. 
  • A proven track record in project management, with a reputation for delivering results on time.
  • In-depth knowledge of production principles, with the ability to apply this expertise to enhance precision CNC machining processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for turning challenges into opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software, using these tools to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and effectively.
