Job Title: Area Sales Manager (Delhi)
Reporting to: Zonal Sales Manager
Location: Delhi
Team Size: 1 Direct Report

 

Job Purpose:

ASSA ABLOY India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an Area Sales Manager (Delhi) to drive business growth, develop key accounts, and expand our presence in the region. The role involves strategic planning, channel management, and ensuring revenue targets are met.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Drive revenue growth by acquiring, converting, and retaining key accounts in Delhi.
    • Identify market potential, relevant channels, and new product opportunities.
    • Explore new territories and key pockets for business expansion and profitability.
    • Develop and execute strategies to convert top key accounts for sustainable growth.
  • Channel & Distribution Management:
    • Manage and grow relationships with distributors and direct dealers.
    • Allocate and review distribution and key account targets with ASEs/DSEs.
    • Ensure proper stock hygiene across distributors and dealers.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy:
    • Monitor and counter competition activities with effective strategies.
    • Conduct data analysis to forecast sales, budget planning, and industry trend updates.
    • Implement effective marketing strategies to support business growth.
  • Team Leadership & Performance Management:
    • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve company objectives.
    • Track and review daily/weekly/monthly sales performance and take corrective actions as needed.
    • Ensure execution of the sales process to drive volume and profitability.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Graduate (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 4-5 years in retail sales, hardware, or building material industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong channel management and negotiation skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
    • High level of integrity, ownership, and strategic thinking.
