Resstende is a leading Italian company in the sun protection sector, specialized in the development and production of dimming and filtering roller shutter systems. RESSTENDE was founded in 1975 and has developed over time with a history of research, quality and technology which today finds expression in over 1000 product variants and exports to over 30 countries worldwide. The company produces sunscreen systems of various types: free, guided, vertical, horizontal roller blinds, both for internal and external environments, with manual or motorized operation. It has over 70 employees with an annual turnover of around 15M. 

Resstende collaborates with the best-known designers on the Italian scene and international studios, through the fielding of extremely high professionalism and high skills. The internationality underlines the importance of his collaborations, that pushed the Lombard company to create new headquarters that could respond to current needs and future strategic developments. 

Developed over four floors and with approximately 6,000 square meters of production area, the new business district includes large workspaces, training rooms, showrooms, areas dedicated to hospitality and sharing that meet the highest workspace standards, as an ecosystem of environments centered on relationships and collaboration between people. 

On the occasion of the opening of the new headquarters in Arcore, Resstende was looking for an access control solution in line with the modernity of the new site.

Solution

Incedo^™ Business access control system from ASSA ABLOY met Resstende's requirement for a solution designed and built to high quality standards and innovative. 

Incedo^™ does not require any dedicated computer and is easy to manage as it is web based: control takes place from any device, from any web interface. Characterized by simple hardware and software installation and management, Incedo also combines opening via code, tag and smartphone. 

Administrators quickly create groups with customized access for specific doors. Access permissions can also be limited in time, which is perfect for meeting room bookings and facilitating access times for specific people, depending on their role in the company. 

Incedo^™ also guarantees a high standard of security thanks to SEOS technology.

Access to the Resstende facility is now protected and monitored with ASSA ABLOY readers. Incedo^™ cluster controllers and door reader modules connect hardware to Incedo's flexible software and all devices work seamlessly within the same ecosystem. Access is managed from a single interface, thus saving time for the personnel administrator. 

Incedo^™ is a modular platform-based solution that provides customers with a scalable and future-proof access control system.
