No, a door thickness of 35–80 mm is required. If the door is thinner than 35 mm, the accessory 8820 distance ring is required.

Normally batteries last for several years or 30,000 operations. When the LED starts flashing red instead of green when entering the PIN code, it is time to change batteries.
Nothing. If locked, it stays locked. If unlocked, it stays unlocked. User codes are retained in the lock's memory.
Initially you will be alerted with a red LED blinking when pincode is entered, if this warning is neglected it will escalate with a delay of 1-2 seconds from entering the correct PIN until the handle is engaged and the door unlocked
Yes, handles are also available as non-coded mechanical handles.
No, it is designed for indoor use only.
Use a wet cloth or tissue and wipe. Do not spray water directly on the handle. Follow the instructions on the cleaning leaflet enclosed with the package.
Yes, enter administrator mode and push button #3 to turn automatic locking on/off.
Yes, up to 9 user codes. However only 1 administrator code is possible at a time.
Using your admin code, you can add more users. For details refer to the user manual.
Yes. Remove the Code Handle from the door, tilt the spindle downwards vertically, and press digits 1 and 4 simultaneously.
The wrong code has been entered too many times. The handle is probably disabled. Wait 3 minutes or enter the correct code twice to abort.
The admin code is only for configuring the handle, not opening. For opening, please enter a user code.
