ACCESS STORYLondon Ambulance Service uses PROTEC² CLIQ by Abloy

PROTEC² CLIQ solution by Abloy enhances drug security for London Ambulance Service

To ensure the efficient and secure management of controlled drugs across London, the London Ambulance Service upgraded to the PROTEC² CLIQ system.

This key-based access management solution meets the urgent care needs of the service, which covers an area of 620 square miles with over 9,600 staff and volunteers serving more than nine million people who live, work, or visit London.

The PROTEC² CLIQ solution by Abloy allows for better control over who has access to medication storage, enhancing both security and compliance. Over 4,000 keys have been issued to paramedics, ensuring traceable access across multiple locations. This change addresses previous challenges with insufficient oversight and provides a flexible, easy-to-use system for the service's extensive network of staff and volunteers.
