For over two decades, ASSA ABLOY South Africa has been providing safe, secure and convenient door opening solutions for a variety of uses.

Although we are part of our international Swedish brand, we have fulfilled a uniquely South African function securing homes and businesses nationwide. Our locks, products and entrance solutions can be found across a number of industries to address numerous applications.

We offer more than traditional locks. In fact, our offerings transcend standard locksets, rim locks and cylinder locks. Our impressive solutions are state-of-the-art and include:

In line with this, we are dedicated to implementing these principles to drive empowerment and transformation throughout ASSA ABLOY. As a result, our 5-year Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) plan was passed by inspectors, confirming that we are playing our part in national transformative objectives.  

Social responsibility is another area that we are incredibly passionate about. This has driven our involvement with several local charities. The sponsorship of products to a host of worthy causes has seen ASSA ABLOY provide safe, secure and supportive environments to educational and health sector organisations, as well as homes that offer comfort to those who are previously disadvantaged.

As a respected brand, we understand that we are only as strong as our products and our affiliations. It’s why we are aligned with many reputable entities. For starters, we are a member of The Association of Architectural Aluminium Manufacturers of South Africa (AAAMSA). This was started in 1974 by eight companies to promote commerce, trade and commercial group interest between those who work in the manufacturing and installation of architectural aluminium structures. This also includes the administration of insulation, partitioning, ceiling and glass as well.

Another affiliation that we are proud of is that of our membership with the LASA – the Locksmiths' Association of South Africa. As the national representative body for locksmithing, all members must abide by a code of ethics. ASSA ABLOY works with locksmiths around the country providing secure solutions for their customers.

ASSA ABLOY is also a member of several architectural associations around the country, and provides CPD-registered training on ionmongery and access control for architects and quantity surveyors.
