The motor-driven bolt convinces with its high holding force of up to 50,000 Newton. The locking bolt is made of stainless steel and has a diameter of 18 mm. It is classified according to protection class IP67 and protected against the ingress of dirt, dust and water. It can even withstand temporary complete immersion in water. The locking counterpart is made of coated aluminium and is very corrosion-resistant. A switchable heater ensures functionality even at temperatures far below freezing (down to -35°C).
In addition, the electric bolt 843G offers versatile installation and usage options. Thanks to the symmetrical design, it can be installed both horizontally and vertically in indoor and outdoor areas. The configuration of the fail locked/unlocked function as well as the push-button/switch function is realised via dip switches.
The 843 G electric bolt has comprehensive monitoring of door and deadbolt positions at all times. These indications can be integrated into many different access control or alarm systems. In addition, a tamper monitoring system reports when the housing cover is removed.
