Challenge::

WOBAK (Städtische Wohnungsbaugesellschaft GmbH Konstanz) has been active in the Constance residential construction sector for over 90 years. It aims to provide people from different living situations with suitable living space in the attractive city on Lake Constance. In order to achieve this, WOBAK itself is also involved in the construction of new buildings or modernising existing ones. Securing its properties – including residential buildings, connecting accommodation and its own administrative buildings – is a top priority for WOBAK. With the large number of properties, the housing construction company regularly has problems with losy keys. Service providers such as tradesmen or cleaning staff also regularly require free access to the buildings. WOBAK was therefore looking for a locking system that offers a high level of security and great flexibility.

Solution:

The WOBAK service centre and workshop as well as three new buildings (two apartment buildings and one refugee accommodation) were equipped with the IKON eCLIQ locking system from ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH. The master key system can be managed via an easily scaleable and flexible Cloud-based platform with CLIQ®-Web-Manager. The software enables the locking system management application to be accessed from the Internet. The responsible employees can manage the locking system at any time and from any location. Lost or stolen keys can be quickly deactivated and tradespeople can be granted access authorisations without great effort. The CLIQ®-Web-Manager is therefore ideal for managing locking systems which are distributed over several locations – as is the case with WOBAK.
