As a complete provider of energy and building technology, Rückert + Müller GmbH has been a renowned player in the industry for over 44 years. The experts from “RüMü” stand for the construction of sophisticated electrical systems for the public sector as well as for trade and industry in southern Germany. The company’s extensive field of activity requires a close and trusting partnership with manufacturers and service providers as well as a reliable and innovative product portfolio that meets its own high standards.
For its own new building, Rückert + Müller was looking for a modern and flexible access solution that could be operated as simply as possible.
Solution:
The solution was SCALA from the effeff brand. The flexible access control solution can be expanded almost at will and adapts seamlessly – from a single-door solution to large networked systems. This makes the modular system equally well-suited for private, public and commercial properties. Rückert + Müller opted for the SCALA solution with extended access control and time functions. Six building entrances were integrated into the system on site as fully wired online doors. In addition, there were a total of 20 other security-sensitive areas, including cabinets, roller gates and charging stations, as well as other outdoor facilities and locks, which were integrated into the EAC system using Aperio® offline components.
Aperio® technology works wirelessly thanks to RFID technology and radio frequency. The corresponding cylinders, fittings and handles are integrated into the SCALA EAC system via a communication hub for online integration or data-on-card for offline integration.
The positive personal experience with SCALA led to Rückert+Müller entering into a firm partnership with ASSA ABLOY during the construction phase. SCALA and Aperio® fit very well into the installer’s portfolio, so that their own customers can also receive comprehensive advice and equipment from a single source on the increasingly important issue of access and security technology.
