Characteristics:
Challenge:
Since its foundation on 9 March 1950, the building cooperative Baugenossenschaft Hanau eG has stood for safe, socially responsible housing supply: “We strive to identify problems and create solutions, to resolve tenant issues quickly and to a high standard. The reliable trade companies we have been working with for years contribute a lot to this,” says Managing Director Heiner Fritzsche.
With this in mind, a modern security and locking solution was sought for the tenants of the building cooperative’s 40 residential buildings.
Solution:
Following customer-oriented and comprehensive advice from Schultz Beschläge, the Cuilding Cooperative Hanau decided on an electronic eCLIQ locking system from the IKON brand. eCLIQ is easy to handle and program, as the system administrators do not have to start up each locking cylinder individually to replace batteries, for example. The power supply and communication with the cylinder are conducted via keys and programming keys only. Access authorisations can be issued, deleted or changed in a short time by simple reprogramming via the local management software. In case of key loss, authorisations are withdrawn very easily and the risk of misuse of illegal duplicate keys is minimised when changing users or tenants. Authorisations with time and room restrictions are also possible. For instance, tradesmen can be issued a personalised authorisation for a specific task.
