New fitting series from ASSA ABLOY

ASSA ABLOY offers a comprehensive range of fittings for solid and tubular frame doors. The new line was developed for public buildings and properties such as department stores, industrial buildings and office buildings. It impresses with its functional properties and an extremely high-quality and long-lasting design. The new stainless steel fitting series with a brushed finish includes a wide range of handle fittings, from solid fittings for façade doors to interior doors. Architects, planners and building owners can supplement their long escutcheons with a selection of up to six handle variants.

Increased door security in an elegant design

The new ASSA ABLOY series, which is manufactured in Germany, will be available as fire protection fittings and security fittings from the end of March 2021. It is suitable for interior and exterior use and for doors made of all common materials. Particularly noteworthy is the sophisticated range of security fittings. Variants up to protection class SK4 are available.

Solid stainless steel plates securely hold the mortise lock and the locking cylinder and effectively resist attempted break-ins through breaking, levering or drilling. A sophisticated combination fitting for a panic door lock with handle bar (push bar) will also be available shortly. “Our new fitting series impresses with a very high-quality and simple design,” explains Frederik Durst, Product Manager at ASSA ABLOY. “It fits perfectly with contemporary and classic architecture.”

The new fittings have been optimized for ASSA ABLOY’s OneSystem series of locks. All versions meet the requirements of DIN 18723 and the handles comply with DIN EN 179.
