MSL CASA Alpha SV: New product for solid leaf doors for the commercial building sector

With the MSL highlight AutoTriBloc, the previous Tribloc 1850 lock has been further developed and improved in terms of ease of installation, functionality and security. The lock version is now also available in the single-point locking system version.

The new Casa Alpha SV also adapts to its surroundings like a chameleon and can be installed in any wooden door. All the advantages of the AutoTriBloc can also be found in the new Casa Alpha SV mortise lock.

Secure locking technology, optimum intrusion protection

Thanks to the integrated panic functions E and B, both locks (AutoTriBloc and Casa Alpha SV) are ideally suited for escape doors. A mechanical automatic locking system with an enhanced bolt locks the door securely after it is opened each time, thus offering high intrusion and fire protection. As a mechanical locking system for solid leaf doors, both locks can be used in a wide variety of ways in public and private buildings, both in new buildings and renovations. They can be used on main entrance doors to apartment buildings, on accesses to parking garages or in large offices and archive rooms, for example. Solid leaf doors in laboratories, medical practices or cultural buildings such as concert halls and libraries can also be fitted with the locks. Fitters, architects and developers will all benefit from this further development and high functionality.

Variety of versions to suit installation type and design

One noteworthy feature is the new MSL lock's capacity to adapt to different door situations. Thanks to a reversible DIN door opening direction and the reversible panic side, the single-point and multi-point locking systems can be changed quickly and easily. It is also simple to retrofit. If a door is renovated or if there are new requirements for the locking solution, an existing Tribloc 1850 or Casa 1718 or 1719 can be replaced with the new lock with minimal effort on the door. The large load capacity is particularly advantageous - the lock allows heavy door handles to be attached. This is thanks to a new spring concept, which uses a pressure spring instead of a volute spring. As a result, very heavy, modern handles can be fitted which highlight the sturdy character of a solid leaf door, thus allowing architects significantly more scope for design.
