KESO 9000 Ω² integrates rhombic key profile into the Euro profile cylinder
ASSA ABLOY (Schweiz) AG is launching the world’s first locking solution in the high-security sector, which makes the rhombic Swiss key profile available for the Euro profile cylinder. This makes the new KESO 9000 Ω2 locking system very flexible, even for international locations of large companies. Thanks to patent protection until 2041 (in Switzerland), KESO 9000 Ω2 offers attractive long-term investment protection with state-of-the-art Insert technology. Its flexibility in terms of calculation enables sophisticated and complex locking systems to be planned in a clear and customer-friendly manner.
KESO from ASSA ABLOY stands for locking systems of the highest Swiss quality, the highest security requirements and reliable use. KESO systems offer extensive investment protection thanks to long patent protection terms. The products comply with strict standards and are optimally protected against breaking, pulling and drilling. The new KESO 9000 Ω2 locking system will supplement the manufacturer’s high-end product line in the high security sector from 2022 and enable even more convenient and flexible planning of large and highly complex locking systems.
The newly integrated Euro profile with a rhombic key channel is unique on the market in this respect. As a result, the new KESO system provides even more effective protection against unauthorised key copies, as rhombic key blanks are not freely available on the market. Additional security against unauthorised key copying is guaranteed by the long-term patent protection, which is valid in Switzerland until 2041 and until 2036 in Germany.
Compatible with latest-generation mechatronics
The integration of the new system into the Integra platform offers customers the highest flexibility in master key system planning. The mechanical components of KESO 9000 Ω2 can be easily combined with all Integra mechatronics and electronics components as required. Thanks to the additional option of being able to document locking events and accesses seamlessly and digitally in the future, the security level is increased to the maximum. Access authorisations can also be flexibly issued and withdrawn.
More flexibility with integrated Euro profile
The integration of the rhombic keyway into the Euro profile cylinder not only offers improved protection against manipulation and the delimitation against other security systems, but also increases KESO’s integration options into existing properties at various locations of large international companies. With the new system, there are no longer any limits to whether a Euro profile or Swiss round profile cylinder is installed in doors – the cylinder profiles of the KESO 9000 Ω2 locking solution based on Insert technology can be easily combined and fitted.
High permutation options and scalability
Another distinguishing feature compared to other locking solutions available on the market is the high number of possible permutations of KESO 9000Ω2. The locking configuration of the tumblers and the line offset make the system ideal for large and complex locking systems, such as hospitals, universities or large companies. A complex locking system can be mapped clearly and simply with KESO schematic system planning. Locking system expansions, for example by integrating additional buildings into the existing locking system, can also be conveniently integrated into the schematic diagram.
The new locking system is available for order as of March 2022 and for delivery as of April 2022.
