Its predecessor, KESO 2500FP, has already successfully established itself as the ideal system for locking systems in apartment buildings, new buildings and renovations. ASSA ABLOY (Schweiz) AG is now launching KESO 6000FP2, a modernised version of the popular, attractively priced locking solution for homeowners and small businesses. The new patent protection guarantees key copy protection until 2036 at least. In addition to the tailor-made cylinder portfolio, customers also benefit from the latest Insert technology.
KESO from ASSA ABLOY stands for "Swiss made" quality and the highest security standards like no other locking system manufacturer. Like a Swiss clockwork, the cylinders are manufactured with precision and quality. This is the only way to ensure optimal burglary protection and reliability in use. Thanks to long patent terms, KESO systems offer very long investment protection. The products comply with strict standards and are optimally protected against breaking off, pulling out and drilling. Other tampering in the form of unauthorised key copies are also prevented with mandatory presentation of the security card. The new KESO 6000FP2 locking system offers an exciting alternative to the KESO 8000Ω2 high-end system from January 2021 and is the ideal solution, especially for private homeowners and smaller businesses.
State-of-the-art technology with new patent protection
KESO 6000FP2 allows customers to invest in a system which has innovative patent protection up to 2036 and is thus optimally protected against key copies. Even after patent protection has expired, duplicate keys are only created upon presentation of the security card to a specialist partner or directly at KESO, so that every owner can rest assured that there is no chance of unauthorised key copying.
The new patent was developed based on state-of-the-art locking technology and stands out from its predecessor system with a specific horizontal milling of the key and rotor. The KESO 6000FP2 modular system and the well-known Insert technology also guarantee specialist retailers more flexibility in the ordering process, as well as on site.
Can be flexibly combined with electronic components
KESO 6000FP2 also offers flexible combinations and authorisation options. The mechanical system can be easily supplemented with electronic components - regardless of whether digital fittings, readers or Aperio cylinders are used. The RFID chip in the colour cap key can also be used to operate time recording systems or beverage and snack vending machines – a further advantage for smaller businesses in particular.
Tailored and user-friendly portfolio
Companies with a manageable locking system size will find an easy and convenient solution in KESO 6000FP. For this purpose, the portfolio of available cylinders was deliberately designed to be clear and specially adapted for residential buildings and small and medium-sized businesses. Cylinder profiles are available for apartment, furniture and cabinet doors, for example, but also for letterboxes, garages or lift controls. The tried-and-tested KESO reversible key technology also ensures extremely easy key handling: Each KESO 6000FP key can be inserted into each cylinder on both sides.
