ASSA ABLOY and Planet together at the Holz trade fair
Planet GDZ AG has been under the umbrella of ASSA ABLOY for one year. Both companies will now appear together at the largest trade fair of the Swiss wood industry. From 15 to 19 October 2019 at a joint stand at the Holz trade fair in Basel, ASSA ABLOY (Switzerland) AG and Planet will exhibit their innovations and new products for everything having to do with doors. In hall 1.1, stand C20, innovative solutions for everything having to do with doors will be presented to the trade fair's professional audience. These solutions include the newly developed MSL brand Auto Tribloc lock from ASSA ABLOY and the convenient Planet X3 drop-down seal as well as other locks and drop-down seals.

Planet's door drop-down seals and finger protection systems are an ideal complement to the flexible locking solutions from ASSA ABLOY. Especially for carpenters, the combinable systems provide practical door solutions from a single source. Top quality, easy assembly and comprehensive service are important to both manufacturers.
Innovative Auto Tribloc for the commercial property segment
An innovation from ASSA ABLOY is the MSL brand Auto Tribloc lock – a further development of the previous Tribloc 1850 lock. The mechanical multi-point locking system has a self-locking function as well as the panic functions E and B. The new Auto Tribloc is inserted in full-leaf doors and is optimally suitable for emergency and fire doors in commercial properties. A special feature is the easy retrofitting. If a door is renovated or if there are new requirements for the lock solution, an existing Tribloc 1850 or similar multi-point locking system can be replaced by the new Auto Tribloc irrespective of the manufacturer and without retrofitting the door. Only the strike plate has to be replaced. In addition, a new spring concept now also allows the use of solid door handles.
Planet X3 door drop-down seal with unilateral release and click threshold system
The Planet X3 downpour-proof drop-down seal for exterior doors in combination with the new click threshold system will also be presented. The innovative seal keeps driving rain safely away from the door and provides for the first time a completely barrier-free zero threshold for house and balcony doors. Three simultaneous sealing movements downward and left and right completely seal house and balcony doors. Especially convenient is the connection between the door drop-down seal with unilateral release and the modular click threshold system. Thanks to the modular system, Planet X3 can be combined in different versions with the innovative system and offers a future-proof, absolutely tight and at the same time barrier-free door solution for new construction and renovation. The thermally separate flat threshold can be traversed with high loads and creates an optimal transition between inside and outside due to the genuine zero threshold.
