Convertible lock with fliplatch for all tubular frame doors
Whether wooden, metal, tubular frame or plastic doors, FlipLock always fits. With the wide door lock system, all doors can be equipped with either mortise locks or multi-point locking systems, from the mechanical basic version to motorised versions. Joiners, door manufacturers, door planners and architects value the FlipLock locks in particular for their ease of use and the countless design options:
The rotatable fliplatch is the heart of the FlipLock door locks. The direction can be changed in just a few simple steps. While the integrated noise insulation makes opening with pre-load and warping on the door child’s play.
Temperature fluctuations or significant differences in climate on the inside and outside of the door are no longer a problem.
Whether as a security door with panic function or day and night settings, FlipLock locks are available in all common versions.
With the change-over function, the door is equipped with a handle on both sides. The handle is always engaged in the direction of escape, enabling the door to be used at all times.
The passage function is suitable for pure escape doors. Panic actuation from the inside not only opens the door, but also engages the outer handle.
With the reversing function, the door can only be opened from the outside with a key, while the door remains open in the direction of escape at all times.
The reversing function with automatic locking works in the same way as panic function E, with the difference that the lock is automatically locked again after each opening.
The MSL lock technology develops its full potential with FlipLock Drive and eDrive as well as FlipLock access and e-access and enables expansion with the following applications:
