The double-leaf fire compartment door must meet escape requirements in accordance with SN EN 179. The door can stand open during the day. In case of fire, the door serves as a fire compartment and must absolutely be closed.
Access is via the exterior handle. With an authorised key, the external handle is coupled in via a mechanical cylinder (daytime function is switched on). If the handle coupling is switched off with an authorised key via the cylinder, the door can only be opened from outside with the key (daytime function is switched off). Intervention is via the mechanical cylinder.
Exit can be made at any time via the panic function. If necessary, both leaves can be kept open by the door closer's electromechanical locking device. The door's electromagnetic locking device can be deactivated manually at any time by the release button to close the doors.
In case of smoke development, the smoke alarm of the electromagnetic locking device will signal the immediate closing of the door. The driver flap and door closer with closing sequence control ensure that the leaves are closed in the correct order.
