Part of Global Solutions, KEYper Systems designs, installs, and supports a wide range of electronic key management hardware along with class leading software solutions that underpin the critical operations of some of America’s biggest companies as well as organizations across the world.
KEYper Systems reports directly into Traka. Traka was originally the manufacturer of one of the world's first electronic key management systems in 1990 - they are now world leaders in innovative technology for sophisticated, intelligent key management systems and locker solutions. They operate in a wide variety of channel markets such as Government, MOD, Prisons, Fleet, Distribution Centres, and Data Centres etc.
Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands…
As a General Laborer – Electronic/Mechanical Production Float for the Global Solutions division of ASSA ABLOY, you will have the opportunity to become a valuable member of our Operations team, making a genuine, positive impact in the lives of our customers. Reporting to the Supervisor – Electronic Assembly/Shipping & Receiving, you will oversee the process of sourcing and purchasing essential materials needed for KEYper’s operations.
What you will do…
- Assist with warehouse organization and maintenance.
- Pack and palletize electronic key control cabinets.
- Check accessories and systems for accuracy before advancing to packing process.
- Stock/rotate inventory.
- Replenish production floor inventory.
- Mechanical and electrical accessory assembly as well as accessory engraving.
- Pre-wiring electronic key control cabinets.
- Various side work responsibilities, including end of day clean up, as assigned by supervisor.
What we expect of you…
- 1-3 years’ experience in electronic assembly or related field.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associates Degree, CEET (Computer Electronics Engineering Technology) preferred.
- Basic mechanical, electronics and computer knowledge.
Physical Requirements
- Normal, corrective vision range; ability to see color and to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend and reach.
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 90lbs regularly.
- Ability to work sitting or standing for 8 hours per day.
- Possesses good manual dexterity.
