ASSA ABLOY's sustainability initiatives made good progress in 2018. As per the report, the Group had a positive development across the majority of the reporting areas.

As per the report, the Group had a positive development across the majority of the reporting areas. Our increased focus on Health and Safety has paid off and led to a decrease of the injury rate by 11 percent. The water intensity has decreased by 10 percent during the year. The energy intensity has decreased by 5 percent during the year.

By the end of 2018, the Group had 332 Environmental Product Declarations verified and published. The Group carried out 1,055 sustainability audits of suppliers in low cost countries. The Code of Conduct was updated with the Group’s Global Data Protection compliance program. The Code of Conduct will be rolled out in 28 languages.
