Incedo Business makes life easier and work more efficient for everyone, for customers and installers. Here are the answers to your questions.
How many doors can the Cluster controller manage?
Each Cluster controller can manage up to 32 doors when configured as Read in only or 16 if all channels are being utilised for Read In & Out.
What inputs are available for me to use to manage the door?
Each Reader module channel has the following connections:-
- Reader Channel – Wiegand connection
- Lock Connection – N/O or N/C
- Door Contact (can also be used as an additional input e.g. Lockdown input)
- Request to Exit (PTE)
Will the system support Anti-Passback?
Yes, Anti Passback can be configured to work on all or a section of doors across the system, Master and Slave controllers. There are two forms of Anti Passback available Strict and Relaxed.
Will this system support multiple credential formats?
Yes, the hardware will support a wide range of credential formats including iCLASS and Mifare.
How many Door Reader modules can a Cluster controller support?
Each Cluster controller can manage up to four Door Reader modules.
How many readers can each Door Reader module support?
Each module can support two readers.
Does the Cluster controller have a default IP address?
Yes, the default IP address is 192.168.100.1 and when configuring the Incedo Business Lite solution you must make sure the PC used is on the same subnet. On first installation we advise changing the IP address to increase the system security.
